About Me
Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Jessica Arielle Bloch, and I am an American soprano, who was born in West Palm Beach, Florida and grew up in Sarasota, Florida. I have always been a performer, and danced primarily as a competitive dancer until 2013. While in my undergraduate degree at Florida State University, I was introduced more deeply to the world of classical music, including opera. The opera that stole my heart was Eugene Onegin; and since that moment of awe, I have pursued the path of a multi-faceted classical musician: singer, voice teacher, producer, and arts administrator.
I am currently a free-lance singer, and the owner/founder & master teacher of The Bloch Voice Studio at Bloch Performing Arts Inc: my voice studio and company for musical performance collaboration. I teach remotely and in-person, as well as in-person at the New England Conservatory Preparatory School and the Arlington After School Private Lessons Program. Music is a heightening of the self and humanity; so through music, I hope to always uplift, educate, and inspire the people around me. Jessica is an alum of the Florida State University (Bachelor of Arts in Theater and Music 2015) and the University of Connecticut (Master Performance Certificate 2017 and Master of Music in Vocal Performance 2019). |
